Injury Injury thread 2017

Thought I would summarise. I'll edit this once I get some feedback. Have just guessed a bit for now.

Naitanui, ACL (late season / finals). Started light running.

Tunbridge, ACL (mid season).

Lycett, PCL (early season). Some running and light training.

Venables, foot (?). Doing light training.

Duggan, hamstring strain (a few weeks maybe). Not training this last week.

Yeo, ? (?). Out of training last week.

Vardy, knee (apparently not long). Missing some training.

Dale Miller (the West) said on Twitter that he has been asking about Duggan and hopes to have an answer soon.

Cole is fine now and back in full training

Gee, reading that again reminds you how well Keys' impression of Hackdorn really is.

It's dripping in superfluous, poorly thought out, objectionably tedious and child-like adjectives that render it's tenor nothing more than what you might expect from someone who just recently learnt what a ****ing adjective actually is.

Shit, that poor bloke's brain. That was tough. He must have a rolodex with lists of adjectives to use for each type of player.

Duggan, hamstring strain (a few weeks maybe). Increasing his running.

Although still a couple of weeks before Duggan resumes main training

No discussion on Venables which in itself is encouraging

The three knees recovery are going to plan

Vardy and Yeo over their knee and calf injuries respectively - sounds like they took a cautious approach with both

I just get the feeling that Venables will spend the first half of the year going between the the reserves and senior sides for the royals. Could possibly see him having some blistering games later in the season that gets him a debut.

Pretty excited by this - given you've been saying he is getting up and about more and more.

They'll most likely ease him in through the reserves to manage his workload. Once he's ready to play for the EP league side he'll stay there until he gets an AFL call up
