Bowser only 1-2 weeks away? Amazing

but the thing is he will be back in 2 weeks but hes going to have to play at least 2 matches in the vfl before he plays in the afl.
i personally dont think it is that good to play him until he is 100% as he want him fit and fresh for next year- injury free.

god bannisters hammy must be pretty bad
has he reinjured it for the 3rd time:confused::eek:

good to see hadley only 2 weeks away from a vfl recall:thumbsu:

Would be great to see Armfield back in the team, should he pass his fitness test. Even though he is a first year player, we have missed his run and carry.
I was just about to comment on the same thing.

Should we give him a run in the Ants even if he passes his fitness test before returning to the Blues?

With the AC joint, when its healed its good to go.

He may need a run in the Ants to blow out the cobwebs, but again, as with Walker, if the shoulder is fit enough for the VFL then its is fit enough for the AFL.

You people realise that injuries like this occur in the VFL, juniors, ammos...........its not just AFL where you can sustain injuries............right?

Clearly not long you idiot. They're not just going to leave his appendix in there. It'll be his recovery from his op that will determine how long he's out for.

do you get a kick out talking to people like this you dill?

we are all on the same page here champ

I hope that was an affectionate 'you idiot' as you are talking to a fellow Carlton supporter ;)

i was just making the point that when you miss 7 weeks of afl football and you arent a superstar ala judd/fevola then you generally have 1 or 2 weeks in the vfl to get back into it. going straight back into the afl after 7 weeks out is a tough ask.

Sorry, I read that to mean you had concerns over the shoulder.

We agree then.

Exactly. Perplexes me reading here that Walker shouldn't have been included against the Saints to make sure him shoulder was 100%.

Does anyone know Jordan Bannister or can shed some more light on his situation. Seems to have had an amazingly horrible run with a hammy after starting the first 5 games off in fantastic form and being a crucial shut down player for us. Think we've forgotten what an impact he can have for our structure.

Was meant to be 4-5 weeks or something after tearing it off the bone. Then I think he may have done it again, and we were all told by the club that he was meant to resume in the Ants 2's the same week as Walker came back (3 weeks ago). Now he is still listed as 1 week away and nothing official coming out of the club - did he do it again?

finger shouldnt effect his fitness... straight in he's not a touchy feel type of player so his touch wont matter too much... just need his hard running
