Think I agree with the 2 ins and outs. Does anyone know how Balckwell and Bentick went in the 2's? Take it Bower did well.

If Eddie's fit, bring him in at the expense of a like player. Probably Browne (unlucky).

Saddington should get at least one more game IMO, just because it puts way too much pressure on anybody coming into the side to know that if they have an average game first up they're going to be dropped.

Bower and Houla can get a bit more match fitness in the Ants.

Definitely go with

IN: Bower
OUT: Saddington (and Bon Voyage)

Possible (in addition to above)

IN: Betts
OUT: Hampson

id love to see betts back in, but would love even more for hampo to be in aswell!!
which leaves the Big K down forward for most of the game

Not sure if this is the thread for it, but I was thinking the other day about the 80 odd point destruction we received from North last time and thought I would check out the team lists.

Here are the Ins and Outs between the 2nd 07 game and this game vs Roos.

IN
Brendan Fevola
Bret Thornton
Dennis Armfield
Matthew Kreuzer
Cameron Cloke
Simon Wiggins
Steven Browne
Chris Judd
Nick Stevens

OUT
Eddie Betts (Not sure if he will play this week)
Setanta O'hAilpin
Cain Ackland
Joshua Kennedy
Jordon Bannister
Paul Bower
Lance Whitnall
Adam Bentick
Ryan Jackson

Some pretty handy ins for the midfield :)

Lance was made to look very slow that day despite taking some nice marks at chb, how much of a difference has Waite made back there this year!!!

Lot of experience and talent difference between the 2 games. On top of the changes, Gibbs Grigg and to a lesser extent Russell are so much more damaging than they once were as well.

Hope we get to do the demolishing job this time :)

GO BLUES!!!!!!!!

HOULIHAN IN!

if betts doesnt get up, he must play, and play up forward. he is a dangerous player, a quality finisher and will hit fev lace out 9 times out of 10.

ideally, id like to see houla and eddie in the same team in the forward line weaving their magic.

IN: Houlihan, Bower
OUT: Browne, Sadington

Perhaps he may need another week in the two's? He only played a half last week and not sure about this week but he didn't feature in the best.

For such a crucial game, we need to make sure that we're not bringing back anyone underdone.

Browne will be needed to play on one of Thomas/Campbell.

IN: Bower, Betts
OUT: Saddington, Browne (sad, but Betts is more useful to us atm)

If Hads and Hoops are available i think they were a chance. I dont think Hoops would be match fit yet though. Hads no idea.

Would love to see Blackers get a game, Betts if available comes in, maybe Bower?

IN: Betts, Blackwell
OUT: Saddo, *cough*Jordan*cough*Russell*cough*cough*

Bloody Winter cough.

B: Thornton, Jamison, Bower.
HB: Scotland, Waite, Gibbs.
C: Murphy, Carrazzo, Simpson.
HF: Fisher, Kruezer, Wiggins.
F: Walker, Fevola, Betts.

Foll: Cloke, Stevens, Judd.

Int: Edwards, Pfieffer, Russell, Grigg.

In: Edwards, Pfieffer, Bower, Betts.
Out: Browne, Saddington, Hampson, Armfield.

We will not make 4 changes after a good win.
Betts Bower are the only likely chances to come into the side, houlihan and hadleyy oand pfeiff outside chances. Edwards has done STFA in the antz. Armfield was great on the weeknd and will definately satyin th team

Armfield out? wtf

Why on earth would you do that after the way he played last weekend?

Who do you expect to play on Thomas and Campbell?

No way would/should Armfield go out of the side. There's no reason barring injury he should ever be out IMO. He adds a lot to the side.

Wouldn't like to see Hampson out either, I liked the three ruckman set up and Hampson should get as much experience as possible.

I agree on Armfield, i love his run and carry this is the one things we need in the side. Every game we get into Hampson now will be rewarded next year with his devolpment so he should play every game. Bower will have to come back as well very soon shouldn't he?

Yes, I would certainly hope so, at least in the next game or two.

However, I'm unsure of how he's done in the Bullants since he's returned...

I haven't read anything anywhere on his current form and fitness. Anyone see the last VFL game that can tell us?

Hampson must play.

Against an underdone Hamish McIntosh he could do very well and it lets us play Kreuzer as a permanent forward which may mean the Roos have to send Petrie to man him up, which would be a win for us.

I also would only bring Eddie back if he's 100%, we absolutely cannot have any underdone players in this game.

Armfield must stay in as well, his run and carry and determinition is essential.

Thank god you have nothing to do with team selection
Very ordinary effort ..do you actually watch the games ??

Brilliant move to drop Armfield's pace against the Roos and bring in the one paced Pfeiffer who couldn't crack a game when Armfield was injured.

You're just baiting when Edwards is another inclusion.

The only change I would make would be Betts for Saddington.

Who does Saddington play on this week?

I'm developing a mancrush for Steven Browne.

Browne would be the type of player Ratten would like, so I doubt he'll be dropped ATM unless we need to bring in a tall forward or another defender.
