Pretty tough @ the selection table this week.

I wouldnt have thought that we would make wholesale changes after the Cats loss.

Alot depends on the fitness of our returning stars, whether they will come back through Willi or straight back into the seniors..

In - Lonie, Richards & Shaw

Out - Medhurst, Iles & Bryan.

I can't remember a time that the availability of so many players is so unknown. Who knows exactly when Buckley, R.Shaw, Holland, Clement, and Prestigiacomo will be ready? I have three changes for now, but that may change as more information on the players becomes available...

Oh yes, 20 possessions, 8 marks, five tackles, and yet another mention in the best players is just terrible. Some people say the most ridiculous things sometimes.

Ummm, so let me get this straight then. Pendlebury should be dropped, but Richards in for Bryan should be the only change? Now that doesn't quite make a lot of sense. Don't you mean that there are two changes since you feel that Pendlebury should be dropped as well, and who comes in for him?

We dont need 2 rucks against Hille, Medhurst had one good tackle yesterday, isnt hurting teams on the scoreboard, or creating much forward line pressure. Wakes out fro presti, as its doubtful we'll need 3 KPP backs against the bombers, presti to diver, harry to lucas, goldy, shaw x2 and iles to provide the run out of defence. Id play maxy up forward to play a defensive forward on McPhee, and bring in lonie to put a tag on watson, then its game over.

Wakes can't go with Lloyd and I wouldn't play Maxwell or Goldsack on him. I like Maxwell as a defensive forward, plays that role well.

Bryan and Medhurst are the two clear outs, while Iles hasn't been bad Lonie is an improvement.

Presti should come through Williamstown. Presti is pretty good at returning from injury, usually doesn't miss a beat but we can't take the chance of swapping out an in form defender for a defender who may be flat.

R.Shaw may come through Williamstown too as I think he isn't playing for Willy today but I think we can afford to carry him. If not Iles retains his place for now.

Rocca should absolutely not be dropped, he is always going to have a game or two like this, he just got beaten, pure and simple. He is a low possession forward to begin with even in good games so his bad games are always going to look very bad. Even when having a quiet game he will create so many goals through contesting in situations where it looks like we are going to lose out.

You cannot drop a small forward like Davis for being inconsistent. Besides he is always contributing.

i fyou idiots actually read my quote properly and if you read my previous quotes, i think pendelbury should be rested because he is young and coming off a bout of glandular fever!thomas was rested last year and i think pendles should have the same treatment! He is definetly not playing as well as he was at the start of the year anyway.
he is my fav player and i really rate him so stick it up ur fat arses

Problem with Rocca in the ruck is that he can only do it for a few minutes because he blows up otherwise. It's a good idea just to get him involved in the game but can't be relied upon for any decent stint coz his opposition would run him into the ground.
