Once again Inside Football has produced a very comprehensive guide to the draft. It's available now from all good newagents.

Its provides the stats of each draftee as well as some comments from the players club. Its very well done and the Crows should have a good read of these reviews and do something similar for the SANFL players reports - IF tell it like it as and don't sugar coat the players abilities or performances.

Well they do in most cases ...except maybe this entry on page 22... Cant believe this guy has registered for the draft again...brace yourselves Crows fans...

David Gallagher
Adelaide/Sandringham DOB 5/8/80, 182 cm, 87 kg
"David won our best and fairest playing mainly off the wing. He's got great skills, he's very tough and can push forward and kick a goal. For his size he's a very good mark. Used to be on the Crows list and might be some chance to get a crack. Sandringham Coach Mark Williams.

If there is one thing AFC wont be impressed with its Crackers Keenan's comments about Rhett Biglands on page 4.

I know Keenan is a stirrer and his story may stretch the thruth a bit. Either way he has'nt done the club of Rhett any favours by stating RB should be forgiven for a tardy time trial when he didnt include Rhett's results in the story.

Thanks for the tip Jerome. Will have to drop by the newsagents tommorow.

What did he say about Rhett?????? Rhett came in for the run the other day when he was not required to by the club. He just got off the plane from an over-seas trip and went straight to the training track. The clubs was pleased that he even rocked up and were even more impressed with his time. Is that what Keenan is talking about or am I completely off the mark.

Hehe David Gallagher. As if the Sandringham coach could even tell any of the players apart, they've all got long curly hair and look like ****s... :D

he basically said 'dont blame rhett if he has a poor showing at the time trial because of the small size of the seats in economy'. i didnt think he was having a dig at biglands at all. its was closer to defending him.

Fair enough.

Well the club was impressed with Rhett rocking up in the first place but even more pleased that he managed to get a very good time considering the circumstances :)

As long as he didn't have to do a psychology test. ;)

WTF ???

now I remember why I cancelled my subscription !..

David Gallagher was said to be the best player below the knees since McLeod by none other than Malcolm blight.

I read this ni the paper and tehn told Port01 that he would win teh Brownlow one day :(

His main problem was disposal under pressure and getting caught with the ball and his goalkicking and his work rate

Maybe he has fixed all of those things now ;)

Just what we need, some toughness. Redraft him I say. :D

yeahhh - damn that opposition team.....I'm sure if they ever change the rules so you don't need to run, kick, handball, kick for goal or get tackled....then DG will be right up there in the Brownlow

In fairness, that's merely a quote from the Sandringham coach.

Hmm, yes. I watched the VFL Grand Final Sandringham v Port Melbourne or something and he DID kick a goal, maybe two. But the first one he got a free kick and then 50, so... Yes, let's redraft him! :D Now THERE's a player we need more of...
