30%. Really.i find that with the winterboard themes and other mods (the 5 column springboard as seen above) slow down the device.
i am still using the iPhone 3G though, which is slower than the 3GS, but i noticed a 30% performance drop with some of those mods.
worth giving a try though. especially if you use a 3GS
I find with a newly restored and JB 3G, I get around 45-55mb of RAM free. With those simple. small icon themes, with maybe 1 widget around, I can normally get around 40mb. With the most recent theme I have used, I had at max 35mb, but that was with a HTML wallpaper (very intensive), and using BossPaper. And with the original iNav, with those big ass icons, I think 25-30mb was normal.
I think that is maximum, 25% drop. But no themes now are that intensive, especially if the Themer is smart and does the images and such well.
Those themes above would have very minimal observable effects









but I missed out on a 7 letter word because I wasn't focussing enough. When the red bar was about to empty out I realised, and it was too late!
