Keep getting the error message 'this accessory is not optimized for this iPhone'

This came out of nowhere and won't go away. I've done everything short of resettingt he phone. Anyone else had this issue?

What are you plugging it into?

If it's a standard charger, then you have cause for concern.

If it's a music player and the like, the thing's just telling you there may be interference.

I got the 'accessory not optimised for iphone' message heaps after a recent software upgrade, I think its just Apple giving you a big fuck you for not buying overpriced genuine Apple chargers.

My phone seems to be getting used to the charger I got though ($4 (or was it $2) from the reject shop and stands the phone up on my bed side table) and does it less now.

It's gone away..... stopped today after 2 days of it.

I did spill a drink on my leg near my pocket Sat night....but it's in a case an all. Either way it's stopped, and I did nothing to make it stop.

Mine did the same when I bought a new charger. Went away after a week or so, now it pops up maybe once a month or so. Hasn't seemed to affect performance so am just ignoring it.

What does the E mean? Sorry for the noob question, i get it rarely but not for long

If you're on Three Mobile and it's not showing 3G, don't surf the web. You'll get charged extra.

Anyone know of any apps that can turn off your computer or increase/decrease volume?

I've found for even physical damage taking it to the Apple store and admitting you dropped it or whatever they will usually replace it free of charge.

Twice (within 2 weeks) my sister smashed her screen, took it to the Apple store and after initially saying its $250 or whatever they came back and said we will look after you this time.

Is this only if you're iphone is contracted?
