With our massive injury list, which is thankfully decreasing, are our coaches and staff resorting to desperate measures to stop more players getting injured?
It has been mentioned on this site before that fatigue is a likely cause of these injuries. To combat this is the club using of all things beetroot juice to improve player stamina?
Could this be the reason why our injury list is geeting smaller?

According to a caller to the Rumour File on 3AW's breakfast show this morning, someone recently tried to source beetroot juice overseas and was told the company was experiencing a shortage as it had sent a bulk order to an AFL football club.
btw i do know this might not be true
The study by the Exeter University found that a 500ml glass of beetroot juice could cut down seconds from a cyclist's riding time because of the drink's high nitrate levels.

I do know that if you eat enough of the stuff, it turns your pee pink!
I tried it as a student but obviously didn't eat enough as I didn't experience pink urine... good for constipation however :D

Also red poos, which can be frightening if you forget what you had for dinner.
