What have you Heard?

Nothing, really. ;)

Our decision to come out and proactively say that we won't be offering Cox a contract just strikes me as strange and unnecessary at this point in time, unless something has been said from the other side. It makes me think that Cox and his reps have come out and said they already have a verbal agreement with someone else, and of the four clubs that he's been hanging about with Collingwood is (apart from Port) the sexiest option.

He may as well keep the top, it won't fit anybody else.

Sam Durdin lurking over Mason's right shoulder. Could this be a sign?

It's a shame. With Dean Cox near the end of his career I had hoped we would be the source of the next generation of 'Big Cox' commentary that I find childish amusement from.

Am I watching Scott LYcett playing for East Perth in the foxtel cup?
Yeah, going ok but not great. I'd think he'd be 3rd in line for us so I'm not sure I'm that keen. On a side note I think Nathan Blee is a fair chance of catching a cold. Not much happening for the old leggies.

I'm sure there are ruck threads where this discussion could be had.

This thread is a great reminder that tomorrow, Mason Cox and Billy Frampton will wake up as Premiership players and Robbie Gray and Travis Boak, and Zak Butters and Connor Rozee, will not.

And, as a reward, Ken Hinkley will collect another million or so dollars.

Club doesnt have the balls to do anything "left-field." After the failure with Flynn, we have under-used, or wasted our cat-B possie.

Ruck-wwwise, they threw all their eggs into the Lycett basket, which has been a total failure.

While our recruitment and drafting over the last number of years has been excellent, our ruck strategy has been a woeful failure! Bar a brief little flurry from Ryder, from Renouf through to Lycett, our recruiting of rucks has been a crapshoot!
