It has been brought to my attention that a recent post I made en regards to the thread titled 'Top 10 forwards you've seen', has been shared by a Facebook group. Basically for those of you following on at home, they share posts people have made that are seen as being a bit 'fruity' all over social media giant Facebook.
What I posted in that thread was my complete honest take on the ten best forwards I've ever seen at this level since I started watching football. Here's my original post in the thread:

Daniel Motlop - a freak talent
Charlie Dixon - IMO the best in the comp right now
Warren Tredrea - An AFL legend
Robbie Gray - 'The Magic Man' 3xB&F 3xAA AFLCA Winner
Buddy Franklin - Also known as Lance
Nick Riewoldt - I'm a fan
Josh Kennedy - He just gets it done, week in, week out
Jay Schulz - Now you're probably thinking I have too many Port Adelaide players in my ten, but the fact is we have always had the best forwards. This bloke could kick for goal better than anyone.
Barry Hall - Look Out
Brendan Fevola - This guy won games off his own boot.

Honestly, I've thought for a long time about this list and no other player even comes close to this ten. Daniel Motlop will be the most controversial call of the lot but people just seem to forget that 2008 season that he had. Remember him kicking 7 of the best goals you will ever see against the highly fancied Bombers and thinking 'gee whiz, this bloke can play a bit'. I don't think I even need to mention it but Brisbane 2007 at the Gabba, ladies and gentlemen. Did someone say checkside goal from the boundary 50 metres out?
The rest are out and out unquestionable champions honestly I wouldn't trade any of them out.

Those of us that really know our footy would agree that it's a strong list. It's now being shared on a Nuffies page and getting abused and insulted. How can I defend myself on another site without revealing my true identity in fear of my safety?

Not sure how it can be prevented unless Facebook guidlines are broken and they take it down.

they won't understand that it's a list of 10 forwards 'YOU'VE SEEN' - they'll be taking the piss out of you thinking its a top 10 list of all time. So just accept that they dont understand the premise, and move on.

don't defend yourself and don't engage as that will only add fuel to the fire. The golden rule of dealing with bullying is ignore it or better still complement them. ie they say you fat........respond with "thank you for noticing".

only engage in a negative response if you are not offended or upset.
