i'm not sure that i even agree with this, just really guaging what people think, but would it be feasible for Adelaide to give up our Rd.1 and 2 draft picks and possibly a player (perhaps Massie - or another borderline player who would get much more game time elsewhere) for the No. 1 draft pick - and hence Bryce Gibbs?

As GoSarge said, it wouldn't be us backing away but Carlton hanging up on us before we even finish the sentence.

Not feasible for Carlton, that's for sure.

Think about it in reverse. If we had the number 1 pick would you be happy if we gave it away for picks 14, 32 and a fringe player? I know I wouldn't be.

Why don't we wait and see what happens before we start selling our mothers and first born sons to get this kid. Footy is a funny game, it often doesn't work out how you expect it to.
