The time has come, no more excuses, if we have 22 players to put in the park we should overwhelm ANY opposition with our hardness skill and tenacity.

He's just being passionate, there's no reason why we can't win the flag this year and I'd say this is our best chance since 92 of winning it. We're getting into some form and getting many players back including some extraordinary talent which hasn't been on the park for the last few weeks (Ottens) or most of the season (SJ). Our team has no real weakness and we've shown the ability to play aggressive accountable footy. I'd say that puts us in a damn good spot come September and have to mostly agree with Scotty.

this is what happens, and as a ctas fan we should all know better, that was as weak an effort as i have seen but it only proves that we r not up to it, yes we have had injuries but we have won 2from 7 and those wins were against Hawks and Port who can't travel, we don't kick a big enough score and we r unable to stop teams when they get on a roll.

Why byrnes wasa dropped i don't understand, we lack pace in the midfield and he gives us that spark off the bench, Tenace is a major worry, i have been a big wrap for him but he plays like a girl and i don't know where he is at

Just very upset but hey there is no way we can match it with the saints when they get there full team back, i just wonder when our next flag is cause i think it could be another season slipping away

don't want to sound to pessamistic but as a cats fan its how it is, geez i have never seen such bad skill errors especially by players like Kelly, just can't kick.

anyway enough of that, not good enough on the day but there is still 5 more games left, but i am unsure at this stage if thats a good thing or a bag thing

To all decent cats fans: Commiserations. We were lucky that you weren't on your game today and you proved what you could do when you kicked those 6 unanswered goals. Hopefully you can improve on todays performance and maybe even bring the flag back to Victoria.

Inconsistant Geelong could bring the flag home this year, but i dont think so. A team that wants to win the flag cant thump the reigning premiers by 12 goals 1 week, and lose to the doggies by 6 the next! lol ahwell. Hope 2 get in form against the bombers next week

I make no appologies. I said it was time to send out a warning by spanking the dogs and Essendon. It was but we couldnt do it. It wasnt my fault I didnt Jinx us, I could hit a target from 20m. What we did on the weekend was choke, fair and square. We were outplayed by a team that has choked at the crucial stages all year but showed and probably proved to themselves that they do know how to play. We on the other hand seized up, tried to force the play, worried ourselves out of good play, tried to play safe football.

But at the same time I would rather be loud and proud about my club than crap on with this "I am a geelong supporter and we never win so I dont expect to" CR@P. We SHOULD HAVE sounded out a warning, if we were serious about a flag we should have made a statement this week. We are FAST running out of time and I know we are a better team than what I saw on the weekend.
