Let me be the first to say, I don't want to know. I'm new, I love the Cats, I hate the way this season has gone, I will die a very unhappy man if I never see the Cats win a flag in my lifetime.
Rumours and gossip are bad news, they suck people in and drag everyone down to their sleazy gutter level. I have no idea what has happened other than that Geelong have failed to live up to the hype and early season form.

Frank Costa seems like a pretty good bloke to me and there's no doubt that he, his money and his connections and Brian Cook saved Geelong Football Club from going down the gurgler. I don't mind if he goes on holiday, it's not his job to run the club on a day-to-day basis. The bottom line is the coach and the players are responsible for whatever we achieve or don't achieve. Yes they need sound financial backing and loyal support, but after that it's up to them.

It's probably been discussed around here quite a bit but the real question is, if we miss the finals as I expect we will, will Mark Thompson still be coach in 2007?

Hate to say it but it might depend on whether this rumour has any substance or not. Personally Id like to see Cresswell have a shot.
