In my short time here in bigfooty i have met some very wonderful people and i have enjoyerd posting on your site.

Bigfooty is a good site dont get me wrong i have really enjoyed it here but of late it really has become nothing to do with football instead sadly its become a forum where others think its there right to openly and publicly vent there hatred and jealousies and some very serious allegations.

I have not responed back on a personal level because i am better than that but on the same hand i dont see why i should ever be able to read all that stuff directed at me.especially with a site boasting so many moderators.

I have allways held a simple motto when it comes to football its my motto and im pleased as hell to hold it most dearly and that is
I HATE ALL OTHER NON COLLINGWOOD CLUBS...I DONT HATE ALL OTHER NON COLLINGWOOD PEOPLE i am better than those who hate me simply because i follow collingwood.

So im outa here and before i delete this site from my computer i just wanna wish you all good health i love yopur passion what ever you do hold onto your passion it really is the only honest thing left in the game.

It was good meeting you and having a chat at the Locker Room a while back. You know I slip in the odd joke here and there about the Pies p) but you get where I'm coming from, and know how to have a laugh about it.

I'll most likely be making the trip to Canberra for Round 22, and there's every chance we will catch up there, and have another chat over a beer (or half a beer ).

Despite what others think, I have always been of the opinion that you have brought alot to the site, and always read your posts in the light in which you intended them to be read. Your passion for your footy and your desire to meet the people behind the posts always came through and I for one will miss that.

Please reconsider, on behalf of those of us who really enjoy your presence here.

I don't believe this. The moderators get abused when posts are censored for stifling free speech etc. and then get abused for not censoring things.
What the hell are we supposed to do?

And as to why Joffa is chucking it in, I have no idea.
Being the up-front person he is, he's bound to attract many posts about himself. As far as I know, the overly abusive/insulting ones have always been promptly removed.

The people who abuse you make themselves look bad, not the other way around.

So return to the boards with your passion and ignore them.

I also suggest that it is the responsibility of the people who post abuse to stop it - it's very hard for the moderators to stop real time filthiness.
