Our turnovers were at least half caused by the midfielders blind bombing the ball out of defensive half when we were under serious pressure.

Agreed . Seems to be in reasonably good shape for his age which is the main thing. When we played that semi at KP I was always worried about him - He was definitely one of the major threats. He offers a lot more than Kepler. He was our leading goal kicker in a flag year. Would have a fantastic influence on the development of young players. I think he's good for 40-50 goals and given his size he always takes a big backman.
Correct. Pods is free to any home now. If Gumby gets delisted he will be to, until then he is an uncontracted player and will need to be traded to ensure that a club gets him.We wouldn't need to trade for jpod and gumby if both have been delisted would we?
I think Gumby is the go personally
At what price though? Essendon's demands have been the problem each and every year. I can't imagine it will change this time around.
3rd round. Last year the sticking point was Gumbleton.
I'm getting used to the idea of him being a Docker now![]()
It was too early for you to start your Andy_demestos alias.
You are defiantly correct about breaking down on the HFFs. But I am not sure pod is the man to solve the problem. I think the league has him worked out. He didn't get a goal in the last 4 games this year, he certainly didn't have nearly as good a year as previous ones. I think we should do all we can to get gumby, pod is too washed up and I dont think he is our answer.
Also, kewdawg is coming back. I know he isnt great but I reckon he would be just as good as Pod. Id rather go for the younger gumbleton which could help us in future with a tabernar gumby combination becoming our future forward line (pretty grim)
Perhaps I just haven't given it enough time to grow on me.Come on Reg - there are so many alias's on this board it's a shining example of online natural selection.
I'm back to number 3 after number 4 lost a bet.so uh what alias number are you on

I really think the club should move quickly on the Jpod.
Mayne would be the main beneficiary from this deal - he will go from picking up the best tall defender for most of this season (in Pav's absence) to getting to third best tall.
Might put 5k on Mayne to win the Coleman in 2014 now. Are they taking bets yet?
I vote Podlich
