Both he and watson look to have removed the duck / look to draw a free as their first instinct (well at least they did yesterday), as a neutral it makes it alot easier to appreciate their quality.

This. Not really. They play virtually the same way but haven't been getting paid free kicks. You guys just get annoyed when they get paid the free kicks whether they are there or not.

Honestly, if he didn't play the fool and draw hate for it - he'd hardly ever even be mentioned.Really stamped the ducking out of his game and he's become a much better player for it.
Dropped for Easter Monday last season and came back in the best form of his career. Depending on who you ask, he was close to BOG yesterday.
Turned himself from a one trick pony small forward to a hard running linkman.
A lot of my non-Hawk mates are starting to come around to Ginnivan. Wonder what the rest of BF think?

Really just a meh player.
But who talks about Dylan Moore? He's averaging 19.5 touches and 1.2 goals a game. That's not meh for a HFF, that would be up there with the top handful.
FWIW Dylan Moore was AA in 2024 with an average of 19.5 disposals and 1.4 goals a game.
Anyone with a brain knows how good Dylan Moore is. He was an AA as a pure half forward flank which is rarely if ever seen. But who talks about Dylan Moore?

You’re very clueless. Enjoy your life as a causal fan of the game pal.But who talks about him?
Meh. No one cares about Dylan Moore. And no one would care about Ginnivan if he didn't have the hate factor.
Hawthorn seem to have heaps of these meh guys. That little Italian dwarf from Essendon, the spud with the rat tail, Watson.
They're all just meh.

Oh yeah? Why didn’t you start a thread about it 2 years ago then?I liked Ginnivan before it was cool
I can confirm Collingwood are both surprised at how well he is going and regret they gave him away.
L I wouldn't say a short arse that's slow of foot and doesn't tackle is a need for us further up the ground.
I never made that claim. We have many holes on our list. I love watching Ginni play, but he's not what our list needs right now.Yeh, you’re right. Collingwood are littered with an array of young talent, a likely AA, under 25 year old would be lucky to make the squad.

It is not that Ginni has stopped ducking - he has moved up the ground and is playing a completely different role - a role Collingwood never gave him a shot at.
Mad squib in the last 2mins
It was very noticeable, especially Watson who seemed to go out of his way to instigate head high contact - surprise, surprise, they're actually pretty useful footballers when they just focus on playing the ball. Both he and watson look to have removed the duck / look to draw a free as their first instinct (well at least they did yesterday), as a neutral it makes it alot easier to appreciate their quality.
