I have to admit I didn't watch the crows trial last week. Luko seemed to be under some fire from the comments here. I went to the internal the week before, it didn't appear to me Luko was lazy. He was making repeat leads pretty regularly as an outlet. He's not that contested marking guy, but he can still be useful to us if we use him right. Did we overpay for him? Maybe. The injuries thing is annoying, he was durable at GC. Now he comes to us and he's picking up injuries.

The thing that I noticed in both of the Trials was that every time Luko got space on his opponent the kick missed him by a mile and regularly favoured the defender. His strength is getting that space, if you kick it badly to him he’s not a 1 v 1 player and won’t look great. He definitely needs to improve there.
