Pretty sure i have heard the coach say this before but anyway he needs help down there, looking at the scores today with the saints, there's no way we can beat teams with only one consistant goal kicker.

Griffiths will be good IMO once he gets going, but we still need to fill other holes, do we have a goal kicking Half forward, we need some more goals coming from there and in the middle.

Griffiths will be good up forward. Maybe Vickery can be pushed up forward?

We have proven in the past we can rely on other players to kick goals. I think it was the Adelaide game we had a few goal kickers, and Jack had a quiet one.

agree. thought he was good today, would have had more scoring opportunities if he didnt have to chop out in the ruck.

If we end up with Pick 8 and miss out on Gaff / Atley, I wonder whether we will take a punt on Darling??? As a third tall in the forward line, with long term ability to go through the midfield (Pav like)....

That's where Vickery, Griffiths or Post come into the picture. Jack looked great all day, but when he started up the ground today around CHF, it looked to me, he's a more natural fit to the position. (ironic given he kicked 7 today i know).

if one of griffiths, post and taylor can become really good players, we will be ok, if all of them fail then we will be in trouble.

May aswell chuck Astbury with all of them. Rance, Gourdis, Moore. McGuane and Thursfield are probably all ahead of him right now. That will probably change in a year or two though. But lets see what he can do in the forward line while we badly need a KPF and are over crowded with KPB.
