Jacobs Requests Trade to Adelaide

I am not sure if this deserves a thread but Sam Jacobs has officially requested a move to the Crows.

The real devastating part about all of this is sammy is gonna look really good in an Adelaide jumper.

Heres hoping we get what's fair in return. Top player and top bloke. Will be very missed.

IMHO a deal would have already been worked out in principle.

They wouldn't have announced it otherwise.

Seller would be a steak knife though..

If the Blues are seriously keen on Brennan, then 14 has more chance of securing him over our 18.

I am pretty sure the deal would have been done already for this announcement to make.

No thats way too much, especially as he has asked to go to Adelaide and is uncontracted. We dont hold much barganing power here.

Sellar is part of the deal....almost certain about that considering his fitness test last week.

We will be lucky to get an upgrade on our third round pick as anything extra IMO

Despite not holding as much bargaining power Adelaide has generally been a fair club to trade with so I expect a fair deal will be done. It would seem Sellar is a possible part of the deal if the rumors of the fitness test last week are true.

They wouldn't have announced it otherwise.

I agree. It is strange for a club to come out and officially declare their player is interested in a trade to a specific club.

Some sort of arrangement must have been organised. Hopefully this trade goes through quickly so both teams can focus on the rest of trade week.

Bitterly disappointed. He was much loved among the playing group and his second half of the year was sensational. He will do well for you guys and it's going to hurt seeing him do it after having him on our list for the formative years.
