No one in the league plays that role so consistently. I don’t even subscribe to the Dangerfield cult myself but for years he’s been able to go from one to the other when needed so I doubt he’d find it impossible to play a hybrid role of both. He was the best midfielder on the ground on Saturday and also provided a threat up forward. I’m sure there are many players from other teams who have done it. Hell Ablett kicked 44 goals in a season while averaging 30 touches a game (yes I know he’s retired).

why is the fan base of AFL so prone to hyperbole?

You’re talking rubbish mate

Dangerfeld is no genuine forward

the bloke can’t kick a set shot to save himself

Stringer can kick them from all points of the compass

just accept that Jake is a gun and make a cup of milo

Between the start of round 1 2019 and round 6 this year, Stringer’s set shot accuracy was 53 per cent. Dangerfield’s was 47. (I have no idea how to find the set shot stats since then as the page only goes up to then).

All
forwards miss a few

Jake nails them when the pressure is on and we need the goal

Bribing someone? You know of this first hand yes?
Wasn’t that the whole scandal? He cheated on his partner, knocked up the other girl and then paid her off to keep the whole affair under wraps and have an abortion? Or am I imagining that (serious question - that’s what I thought I recalled reading at the time)

Never heard of the abortion, just that he slept with a 17yr old.

Cheatings fine, school kids, not so much, legal or not
If it's legal, why isn't it ok? He was what, 22-23 at the time?

Just seems people are using it to hate on a guy for no reason other than he annoys them during a game of footy
