"We're not too sure hopefully a couple of weeks" = The club is lying to us
"Hard to put a date on it, it's a bit indefinite for now" = Oh my god he is dead

hahahaha :thumbsu:

Que Sera Sera,
Whatever will be, will be,
The future's not ours to see,
Que Sera Sera,
We've still got Scott Pendlebury

Or something like that.

Heal the pars, the pars!
Our lineup without Jamie,
Will waste all our forward entries,
Heal the pars, the pars!

How about 3 years. Is that enough time for you?

Don't be silly. Put him on ice for the first half of the season and work from there. Maybe half a dozen games this year to set him up for 2017.

Interesting the club has said nothing of this and haven't said he'll play again. They must be covering something up.

<insert conspiracy theory> to rob us supporters of said knowledge. Sounds eerily like the Ben Reid issue that has so many noses out of joint.

It's a legitimate question and I'm happy to provide an answer because I was one to cast doubt over the club's communication of Reid's injured calf.

The difference for me was that they got on the front foot with Elliott. Whereas Reid's has just been vague half denials and non-release of information right from the start.

Ultimately though no issues with how Elliott's injury has been communicated if anything it's the standard they should always adhere to :thumbsu:

I don't like that it's a recurrence injury, but I've said enough on our fitness team.

Im of the belief that if he has an issue, don't play him. Not worth risking him, he is too important to play at 50% or 70% fitness. Rather him be 100% when he comes back.

They had 6 months in the off season to get this right. The fact they couldn't is a massive worry. Not holding my breathe

They work hardest in preseason. He wasn't relaxing and working on his back. He had to do a preseason to be right for the season. He didn't have six months off.

It's why some players retire because they can't get through another pre season. To TG and other like minded no I am not saying he will retire.

Someone will manage to only read the sentence prior to this anyway.

Clearly Buckley's fault, again. But I think Cloke's poor goal-kicking also has something to do with it, as does Swanny's weight problem and Jarryd Blair.
