Actually he is a terrible mark, incredibly hard hands means he often drops the simplest of chances.

Can't agree with you on this one. I think he's got decent hands but his confidence and lack of concentration lets him down. I've seen take some pearlers and you don't take them if you don't have good hands.

I may give myself away here to those who know me up in Sydney but I've always said that when White is taking marks, Sydney do not lose. Didn't really apply this year but in the last few years was certainly the case.

I definitely think he has potential to fill a 2nd ruck possie. He is NOT a KPF alone and is NOT a ruckman alone. That 2nd spot that has come to the fore is tailor made for him...as long as he sorts out what's between his ears.

During this years preseason goodes declared white the best contested mark in the club.

It is perplexing, assuming his ruck game fills out he would be a pretty serviceable player for his position. I dont get why port dont pick him up as they were looking at seaby last year.

RE White: Do not want. Doubt there would be many clubs after him, although he may be thrown in as a 'sweetener' in another trade. One of those guys who plays a few good games, expectations rise, salary rises and then he fails to deliver on his potential. Really doubt he'll ever play AFL footy again, especially if the Swans get Tippett.

I flew up to Sydney this morning and Watson, Heppell, Ryder, Goddard and a couple of other Bombers were on the flight and I overheard them asking the flight attendant to organise a couple of taxis to the office of the Sydney Swans, so maybe it is all underway. Also, they were saying about how Chris Judd, Andrew Walker and Mark Murphy were ending up at Sydney as well as part of it. Sounds like Sydney are getting ripped off a little, but he is 24 already, so maybe not too bad of a deal.

Apparently the Swans have a Jesse White clone aswel so Bombers get the real Jesse as they offered the most and Carlton get the clone.

If i was GWS i would look at trading like pick 80, its not like they will use it and they have heaps of salary room (1-2 year contract until they get decent and dont need this spud) but he would be moderatley useful in meantime
