White has been a great addition. I'd say there's also enough evidence to conclude he needs to be played as a permanent forward where he can just focus on presenting an option in the air and at ground level, and in the process kick a few goals.

When he needs to balance the forward work with rucking his effectiveness is diminished. That means playing two other rucks, Grundy and Witts being the obvious first choice. As for the question of Reid's imminent return I think Reid becomes a true swingman with the option of playing him forward or back depending on match-ups and when the second ruckman is on and off the field.

I never said to drop Goldsack. If he keeps playing as he has done in recent weeks he is a lock for the 22.

As for who Reid replaces I honestly am not sure. A couple of weeks back I would've said Keefe, but he has done well since then. Frost, nothing more needs to be said. But Reid is still better than anyone else we have back there, plus his long penetrating kicks and ability to go forward and back are real weapons. It will probably be a week to week proposition as to who misses out given no injuries (can't believe I just mentioned that!!)

Anyway these team selection issues are a great problem to have really.

They aren't really impacting the scoreboard though (the 2 rucks) so Reid forward or back depending on the situation is the way to go.
