Yes but Sydney and Brisbane have other cricket grounds.

The only cricket ground up to standards in Victoria is the MCG.

This wouldn’t be a problem is they scheduled them before/after Shield games, you know, when the G is available.

Makes more sense to play it as a tournament like this, given that it's not like back in the 80s and 90s when they'd play a Test Match and then a one dayer or two before back onto the next test match. Better reflects the nature of a World Cup, which is what they're trying to replicate and prepare for anyway.

It would make a lot more sense if the home ODIs were played after it instead of at the end of the summer.
 
since there was no specific thread for last nights NSW vs Qld match, I notice the scorecard said Renshaw bowled 10 overs. What does he bowl?
Offies. He's been giving himself 10 overs a game as captain of Toombul in Brissy grade cricket and hasnt been going terribly. Got Labuschange and Heazlett out in the same game a couple of weeks ago.
