John Hinge- 1st person invited to Pre Seaon

as posted on the draft and trading board, Sacred Heart's John Hinge is the first player to be invited to Adelaide Pre Season training, i mentioned him in that board early in the year as a possible draft smokey. He is a tall but plays more as a flanker role, held down CHF for SHC all year. He is mobile, good below his knees and quick, he is probably about 188-190cm tall and is built like a tank, would be AFL ready next season. Im excited about him being out at pre season! his natural foot is right and he is an excellent kick for goal and has good hands and can take a pack mark.

How old is Hinge. Did he nominate for this draft. Are the crows looking at picking him up as a rookie or looking at him for next years draft? How would he compare to Jupiner.

he has just turned 18, he did nominate for the draft and i think in any other year he wouldve gone nearly if the draft wasnt so top heavy. we are looking at rookieing him and i would be glad if we did pick him up because he is hard working and is a very good player. i would prefer him to Juniper especially knowing what i know about him and Redden(i wont say in here though) he is a much more complete footballer than Juniper but probably doesnt have the natural freaky ability of Juniper. i prefer him anyways, would be an absolute asset to our team.

I know i'm being greedy, but is he aggressive RD?. We have definately been spoilt by the AFC with aggressive players this draft/trade.

yeah he is very aggressive on his attack on the footy and he has a big body so hes not frightened to take on a couple of the bigger boys either.

yeah but lets remember he was over looked in the draft, so we just have to wait and see how he comes along but i was talking to one of his mates yesterday and he has been told he is more than likely to be put on the rookie list and if Stevo or Begs dont come up then they may look at him in the PSD.
