I'm concerned that he's playing half-back, when his preferred position is midfield and it's that position where the Hawks need help.

I'd love to see him given a run of at least 4 games in the second half of the year, but for all our optimism it's starting to get a little desperate for a player who's played 9 games across four seasons with our club. Without strong form over the next few months I think he's little chance to be offered another contract.

Wasn’t he getting some pretty good tags after getting a heap of ball playing midfield?
It seems strange that he was doing well early then has gone missing or being coached up elsewhere to make home more “Hawthorn versatile”.
That would make a whole lot of sense if his body doesn’t breakdown this season; made his point as a genuine mid early & then identified that a half back rotation would best suit his skill set.
I wouldn’t be writing off Jonno just yet.

Morrison spent alot of time off hbf against the suns. JOR might be pushing for that spot.

As much as i love harry im not completely against giving JOR a few games before Birch returns.

Morrison's impact has declined in the last month or so. He's averaging 11 disposals from last 4 games. Maybe he needs a week off. I'm not necessarily convinced that JOR gets his spot though.
