As previously mentioned on here, good early last week, looking better week by week. His ability to find a free target inside fifty by foot in gold, will only make CFC's midfield better!

Yep, last week he started the game better, the week before he ended the game better.

Expecting a better full game from him this week 🤞

Doubt he’ll get up with a 5 day turnaround so great opportunity to give him an extended break.

Fitness doesn’t appear to be improving much playing each week.

Given he’s not adding a whole lot at present I wonder if a mini-preseason is in order.

Clearly they’re trying to play him back into match fitness, but at the moment his effectiveness levels are more Cam Rayner 2023 GF than Jordy De Goey 2023 GF.

He been a Liability out there

Shouldn't be playing, not just tonight but all year.

If he is not right, then have surgery or do whatever.

There is no way that de goey is ‘fit to perform’ as Mccrae was talking about in pre season. Looks miles off it.

I definitely wouldn't be taking him to Perth. He is a mile off it at the moment. Looks like he needs a strong training block for about a month!!

Why do keep playing De Goey when he is not fit enough to play AFL?
I think in the hopes that he gets match fit.

I’ve been ok with it as he’s had patches still in previous games. Last night unfortunately he went backwards.

Not sure if he’s down on confidence. Or if he is still hindered by injury and not fully fit.

Either way, I don’t think continuing to play him in this state is fixing the issue. Don’t ask me what the answer is. I don’t know. Not sure someone like Jordy gets confidence in the VFL. It seems it would be pretty demoralising to play that level for regular best 22.

It might be injury, but a bit of it looks effort related, especially when the opposition have the ball.

He is our second most important player, I can't see us going far without him, but he looks broken at the moment. Some of his "efforts" at the centre bounce were shocking.
