We don't have a second round pick this year, so it would have to be next years.

Or we just freed up another $500K+ with Rooey electing to retire and have apparently told Montagna we won't know if we're going to offer him a new contract until October, which would clearly suggest we're waiting to see if we land a Kelly/Dusty type or two.

I'm sticking with my assumption. It feels like the view is Kelly signs for two years and may even get done before week one of the finals.

Well you've been had. His manager basically admitted the only offers that have been tabled are from North and GWS. That is all it has ever been. SEN have imposed their st kilda agenda, and brown threw out carlton and the media have ran with it.

But as a Carlton supporter it is promising to hear quite a few posters say it's between GWS and Carlton...with some indicating he's leaning towards Carlton.

A lot of crap gets posted in these forums but some respectable ones or at least ones who wouldn't bother making things up are all saying this.
The fact that posters from other clubs have said this too helps it pass the bullshit meter...it's not like it's just deluded Carlton fans saying it.

The Eagles are trying to lure Kelly across with their East Perth connection. Kelly also has cousins that work in the award winning wineries in the South West.

I wouldn't get too comfortable just yet Carlton supporters.
