Would not complain if we ended up with Polec, Fasolo, Green & Hallahan as you have suggested.
Even though I think Karnezis would be a good pick up, I would have selected Seb Tape instead.

Or better still:
Polec
Green or Fasolo
Hallahan
Karnezis
Tape

If the real draft turns out Like this i will be a happy man from a West Coast position

Without critising you to much i disagree that Richmond would think about taking Mitchell unless they want to turn him into a backman.

They have Jack Riewould who is proven as well as Vickery/Griffith as the Big Bodied forwards and Astbury/ Post as other tall forwards.

I disagree with this. Yes, we have Riewoldt who is a lock at FF for the next 10 years. However, we only really have Griffiths at CHF and he is still a risk due to his shoulders. Vickery WILL be our #1 ruckman in the next few years and while I agree that he will play forward, it will only be to stretch defenses and rest. Astbury and Post are the only other genuine Key Position Players who can play forward, but I like the look of Astbury at CHB and Post is being groomed in the Leigh Brown type role. Picking up Mitchell/Cook with our second rounder would be fine by me, as it gives us insurance that our Key Position stocks are complete both forward and back.

In relation to the second round, I don't think we will use our Priority Pick and am disappointed that Cook went two picks before us. Also, think with our 2nd rounder that we wouldn't overlook Hallahan...

With the Official Phantom up and running added to more prolific posters than myself posting their own personal ones I doubt my Phantom will receive alot of attention. Nevertheless I figured I may aswell finish what I started and thus have finished the second round and updated the OP accordingly.

Again feel free to comment.

Is your top 13 now the same as inside footy's?
I wouldnt take too much notice of IF's PD, they usually dont know what they are writing about

I have no idea never read Inside Footy. Plus haven't altered any round after I have posted just added first half of second round then the second half at later dates. Nothings changed.

Thanks Joshen. I disagree that Hawthorn would go after a key defender with its first round pick. Hawthorn drafted Ryan Schoenmakers and Jordan Lisle; the plan is that one or both will play as key defenders. We also traded for Josh Gibson and Ben Stratton played 21 games as a key defender last season. We don't have a great set of key defenders, but I don't think it's the biggest deficiency that will be addressed with the first round pick.

I'd be surprised to see Jed Lamb slide past Hawthorn's pick in the first round. From what I've read and seen of him, I think he might fit Hawthorn's need for an x-factor player that the club has lost in the off-season.

Yeh that sounds that pretty good reasoning to me especially seeing as some pretty good KPD will be available at later picks including Litherland, Delaney, Lester, Otten and possibly even Tape. I guess I kind of went the other way grabbing McCarthy early then Michie as the quick mid. Cheers for the input though.

#18 CARL – Matthew Watson
Ready to go KPD pretty much exactly what the Blues need provides run from defence which is always attractive for a big man and has a good long left foot kick. Question mark over his speed and could be exposed on the lead but having him down there will mean Waite is able to play full time forward which I think would be extremely beneficial for the Blues.

#33 CARL – Darcy Barden
He is a solidly built tall forward with a good work ethic and has strong hands overhead. Can also play back if required but not the most athletic player and needs to improve speed. Obviously Fevola left a hole in the Carlton forward line and while smalls and the acquisition of Henderson have attempted to patch it up they still need a big target up there. Waite can provide that for now but 2 to 3 years down the track they will need someone to step in. Also being solidly built means Barden can have an influence sooner rather than later again important as Judd is not going to be around forever and they want him to still be at his peak when they go for a premiership tilt.

#41 CARL – Myles Sewell
The 2009 J.J. Liston Medallist will be drafted this year the question is where? Due to Barlow’s success last year one would expect it to be sooner rather than later. Carlton do not have a pick until #67 and I do not think Sewell will last till then so I believe they will select him prematurely. Myles is a midfielder who accumulates the ball but does not hesitate to go get it himself. He is a smart player but doesn’t have the greatest kick. Carlton might go mature here as with the retirement of Hadley and the inability of McLean to get on the park Judd still needs help in the clinches and if the Blues think their premiership window is opening they will want players that can have an impact from day 1.

Don't know why why people are linking us to these 3. If we get these guys were will have a team of turtles we will be so slow! Apparently Seb Tape has grown to 193cm and if this is true I reckon theres a good chance we could go for him. Hes much quicker than Watson and better defensively imo. Barden is the Panos/temel will be caught out every time he gets the footy at AFL level. Don't mind Sewell but doubt anyone else between 41 and 67 would pick him so maybe not at 41.
Carltons picks:
Pick 18: Lamb, Hallahan, Parker, Jacobs, Tape, Cook, Mitchell, Darling, Watson
Pick 33: Tape, Cook, Mitchell, Green, Cripps, Young
Pick 41: Andreoli, Wilson, I.Smith, J.Walker, Miche, Steinberg
Pick 67: Gordon, Sewell, Gilbee,
Pick 70: Mellington, Gilbee, Fitzgerald, Delaney or the big charlie sharples goes alright

:)
