unless Riewoldt has a run in the guts, i doubt we'll see judd on him.
It would be an interesting strategy. Judd would be giving up a lot of height, but Riewoldt gets his kicks by leading hard and long into space. Judd would keep up with him on the lead, force his workrate a bit. Plus, Riewoldt would be forced to play him going the other way, which might force him to be a bit more defensive.
As long as we had someone zoning off to be the third man up closer to goal, it might work...

Heard it too and was pretty shocking, though there's next to no chance of that happening.

Well, not entirely. But it might be worth a punt, just to try something different.
Joel Bowden always did reasonably as a defender playing on Fevola; and I'd suggest the size difference there was more magnified by Fev staying closer to goal. If Judd was fully fit then maybe. Going half-pace, as he is at the moment, its stupid. But then, nothing Ratten has done as coach has impressed me yet...

I was listening to SEN at the time, and I'm almost certain he mentioned Judd on Reiwoldt. Could be wrong though, as I was having a conversation at the time.

it was definitely said. SEN said that ratts was toying with the idea
of Judd on Riewoldt. Then they played a sound grab of ratts
talking about judds fitness and the fact that he still needs
more time on the park to get back to full match speed.

if he wants Judd to spend more time on the park, play him in the forward pocket as a resting midfielder
not on the one of the gun forwards in the comp
but i think ratts is just talking it up!!!
