I think he will play but if the coach says likely that doesn't mean it's 100%

That dog Lloyd. Picture clearly shows Juddy with eyes on the ball whilst Diver Dan has come in from behind and round-armed him. Shocking.

A single photo can show anything you want it to. Lloyd and Judd were both going straight at it...

Judd was going for the ball and closer to the ball. Lloyd was running at Judd who was about to collect the ball. Lloyd went to tackle Judd but used more head than body.

The effect was that two trains collided at full speed and caused a bit of damage. Interesting that Judd squirmed as much as Gibbs when he saw LLoyd coming and the ball popped out.

Personally, I thought Lloyd may have had a hearing this week as he collected Judd high and was the instigator of the tackle. It was an ACCIDENT that they clashed heads but it still happened.

I don't think anyone blames Lloyd, it is a contact sport after all....Thylacine was most likely being sarcastic

I shouldn't bite, but of course you would expect the AFL leader in contested posessions to squirm at potential contact

if anyone had been cited over that incident it would have been an absolute disgrace. I half expected Lloyd to cop a week given the recent efforts of the tribunal. I'm very glad it was cleared. 2 great players going hard for the ball. Brilliant stuff. Exactly the sort of thing the AFL is trying to outlaw!

What was Lloyd doing that far up the ground? I can't remember the last time I saw him gain possession in Essendon's back half... then again, I don't watch Essendon games...

I'm surprised that a head as empty as Lloyd's could cause concussion and possibly put Judd out for a week.

However, back on topic, I for one hope Judd doesn't play. Give him this week off, then he has the week off next weekend as well, and he's fresh and ready to go for the crunch time in our season.

Funny how the same press conference produces two different streams of thinking:

One group hears - IMO he will play
The media run with - "some doubt"........Ch 9 news said he hadn't trained all since the incident.........didn't mention the rest of the squad hadn't either.

Yeah I heard that too, during the Ratten press conference. Mountain out of molehills.

The whole group hasn't trained until today, they spent the week so far at a recovery center, because Ratts said that they have a really heavy few weeks training wise.
