.. of this clubs unfailing ability to fall down the way they do. Davey is not the same player he used to be. A few times I saw some of the boys go up to him to pat him on the head, and he just shrugged them off. Send him to the Scorpions.

it will prove theres a cultural issue at this club if davey isnt smashed arouhnd like morton was , he was a disgrace today lost all confidence and then was just useless after that... greeny was good today tried hard

i actually think the move of watts back has done wonders for his confidence and help him become more involved in the game .. its been an excellent move in my eyes

Agree, but would not want it to be permanent. Happy for him to help out down there this year with Garland and Grimes injured.

Hey did you notice the amount of injuries for Melbourne atm? Watts could be playing down back due to some structural problems.

Besides, Watts not to like?

edit: Could have put Bate down back? Yeah right slow as ****.

That is what stood out to me today we allowed the saints to stay in the game (not that we were in front but when we were up made sure they weren't punished), we were a better team in parts of the game (eg: the third) but made sure they didn't have to worry at three quarter time. When they were under pressure we found a way to give them a cheap goal.

It's a passing comment. He's a gun, can play him anywhere and he'll be great. I like him better up forward. my opinion. Never said he played badly.

Hey guys.

This probably won't make you feel any better, but good game today. You put in a great 1st quarter and you were never out of the contest despite your injury toll. You gave it all you had, and you should be proud of your boys' effort. No shame after how you went at the contest.

Jack Watts is something to be excited about too, 25 possies IIRC. Keep ya heads up guys, just a minor setback really. :thumbsu:

Weak as Davey BS, at least wait until Scully leaves.

If we lose Scully while we are over paying that squib I might just lose the plot and go on a rampage.

We have to play davey in the forward pocket his pace is his greatest asset
he is still one of our better players and needs more protection from his team mates....

He isn't one of our better players and why does he need protection? I don't think it should be up to our kids to 'protect' one of the most senior player in the team. Protect yourself for christ's sake. I'd love to see him traded but we'd get offered nothing for him.

Get ready for a ****ing apocalyptic month of shit... we are going to get smashed by every side we meet, just look for the positives, like Evans, if he can sustain that form or even improve at AFL level.
