K.Cornes/D Swan/D Cross/S West

Need to use a trade now that kerr is out, who should i get out of these... was thinking kane, but with Geelong and Freo to come he will have some tough opponents... thoughts??

Playing the Hawks, they dont man up.

The Hawks have one quality tagger and that's Brad Sewell. He tagged Shaun Burgoyne last week. Burgoyne score 52 DT points so I guess it depends who he plays on against the Bulldogs? Cross, West, Boyd.....

Sewell has not done that well in recent weeks, for someone who is used to the tag West will be fine.

west and k cornes are the most consistent, both have been in good DT form too

Have you considered Montagna? Richmond R22... and is fairly unique. West will outdo Cross in that list, but will he do what Kornes is capable of?

Kornes vs Geelong this year: Preseason 113, H&A 145 and in 2006 131. Suggests a decent track record against Geelong. Is Ling scaring some of you?

I'd go K.Cornes, Ling will tag one of the Burgoynes or Chad, not Kane.

The issue is, how will he go this week? The GF if you made it is more important, and West's stats against North aren't what they are against the Hawks. He could hold you back this week!

That said, West just got me over the line last week...

I don't even have him pal, and yes I did make my GF. I picked up Tyson Edwards instead of West, pretty happy with my decision.
The reason I suggested him as a captain is because midfielders playing the Hawks, get inflated scores.

It was a great suggestion as skipper, no probs! I was pointing out that out of the listed players in this thread (K.Cornes/D Swan/D Cross/S West), West might not do so well this week. Not having a go at anything anyone has said!

Cornes might have been a better pick up (or Edwards etc) depending on how they go this week. Hell even Priddis...
