Of course he's happy, he's getting a regular game even though the aspects of his game that needed to improve, haven't actually improved![]()

This is why no one likes Carlton supporters. Turning a discussion into a shit fight.
Didn't Grigg get in your best most of the games he played last year when he came back in the second half? ANyway not the point of the thread. Was average this year after a pretty good start and most likely will be replaced long term or a depth player only.

Only based on dreamteam stats. He got a bit of the ball but didn't do anything with it. Similar to this year with you guys I guess, but at Carlton it's not good enough to get consistent games (and high BnF finishes). Hence he left for greener (easier) pastures.
Fair enough. His kicking style is that f***** not sure how he ever puts it in the right spot, however he didn't really turn the ball over much at all this year. Not sure what his kicking eff was but I believe it was in the 70's which isn't too bad. Still i expect him to be depth long term as we draft more mids.
So in other words it's not coming from anywhere credible like you tried to make it sound in your first post. Cheers.
You absolute clown!!! If I have read it on a piece of toilet paper or heard it from a bum on the street it doesn't ****ing matter! The point is its been said and this topic is Drafts and Trading Kane Lucas!
THEREFORE ITS EXTREMELY RELEVANT.
So in other words stick your fist up yaself. Because thats where all your content comes from. I never said anything about its credibility.
He names Richmond as club of choice and then you will either take 2nd rounder/Connors.

Your right you cant get a game at Carlton unless u use the ball well or unless your
Dennis Armfield
Andrew Carrazzo
Marcus Davies
David Ellard
Jeff Garlett
Lachlan Henderson
Aaron Joseph
Setanta OHailpin
Mitch Robinson
Brett Thornton
Robert Warnock
Brock Mcclean
Clearly his most glaring weakness, is and still is that he turns the ball over mainly by foot and not a great decision maker, yes he gets the ball but certainly does not hurt the opposition, will not progress until he improves this area.
He's the best in the AFL of hitting a target with floatersSure, he has an awkward kicking action but that doesn't mean he doesn't hit the target..... I think if you check the stat's more often then not he hits the target, sure there were the odd shank and the pie floater but he still more often then not hit his target.
And I think you'll find that Hardwick used Grigg in 3 positions this year, first as a Midfielder then in the backline to learn a few defensive aspects to the game and then for a large part of the year Hardwick used him as a tagger, in which he did a mighty fine job of doing shutting down most opponents he played on whilst racking up the possessions himself.

Oh so thats how it works ...ok then Buddy is coming to Carlton .
You just saw it written so run with it .
You blokes need to stop and think before posting rubbish.
Lucas will be a very good player for the Carlton football club ..so i can see why you are making up stories hoping people will believe you .

I think you need to watch some more football.
Grigg was very good in the early part of the year, then went back to defence to learn a few things to improve his game, came back into his preferred position and his performances spiked, then Dimma sent him in to tag again to teach him some aspects.
He played the roles very well, hence a top 10 finish in the Best and Fairest.
It is very clear to me most of the Bigfooty Carlton posters here have never played the game at any level. Just a bunch of nerds sitting behind their computer thinking they know it all.
Dimma is a great developer of talent. He see's weaknesses (its okay to have them too, everyone does, including Judd) and tries to improve their weaknesses to make them a more rounded player. You could see Grigg's defensive improvement late in the season. Great coaching yet again. I can't wait to see him improve further next season and be a component of our improvement.
As for someone having a go at Bachar Houli, well obviously that person has not watched any football in his life. Some of the football Houli played for us was breath taking. Elite even. His kicking is a thing of beauty and he knows where to run and gets a lot of the ball. Workrate is fantastic. Just cause he never was given a chance at Essendon, doesn't make him a dud. The guy has all the tools to be a fantastic player. His Best and Fairest finish was well deserved, and if given the chance, would play the same way at any club in the league.
It's because of the improvement in our players, like these two, that I see reason for optimism at Punt Road. We are very young and improving.
I agree, but you're nitpicking. Everyone starts repeats rumours they've read on BF by saying "The word is..." You just didn't like it because it involved us paying unders for a Carlton player.Actually princess you started it off "the word is" and you still can't name anywhere that it came from. It does matter because if that's the kind of places you get your info from then you're an idiot for even repeating it.
