Opinion Kennedy before Pendles in Do Over 2005 Draft

In Todays Inside Footy Brett Anderson re-did the 2005 Draft and he had Kennedy Going at 1 before Pendles.

I would Disagree with that. Pendles is a Player that does not come around very often. Uses the Ball Well so make players better and his Kicking is Great.

Guess he went Kennedy as KPF are Harder to Find then Mids

Funny thing as well. Kennedy was Picked at 4 by Carlton and they Traded him away in the Judd Trade. Think I would rather kept Kennedy

Well considering at the time we had A. Rocca, Taz and T. Cloke and our best mid was probably Buckley with dodgy hammies, I'd say we'd go with Pendles.

Kennedy was very Highly Rated Still. They have up 2 Top 5 Picks and Pick 20. Selling your Future a bit too much I think

I wasn't meaning just in a GF....I meant generally....forwards, (even Buddy....who's just a giant mid anyway) forwards rely on supply. And supply comes from mids.

That's a better way to think of, that he's trolling Carlton. They did after all refuse all attempts by WC to include pick 1 so they could draft Kreuzer. WC wanted the best deal and without Kennedy or pick 1 Carlton's offer wasn't going to beat Richmond (2 + 18).

Have to laugh really Carlton kept pick 1 and lost the key forward arguably rated the highest player in his draft year.

Depends what you value more I guess. A lot of people will still take the absolute gun KF over an absolute gun midfielder. Looking at the two mini drafts and injuries aside, O'meara had one of the best debut seasons of recent time, is anyone taking him before Hogan? Im not.
