Seeing Kepler on the field and some of the things he has done, I feel we are so lucky to have nabbed him with the 7th pick in the draft. IMO so far he has done a lot better things than those midfielders, who usually develop before the big guys, taken above him in the draft (excepting Cooney). He has shown great leadership skills as well as talent. He is suppose to be obsessed with improving all parts of his game and I think could be captaincy material.
The guy gives me lots of laughs as well with his sometimes awkward style. On Saturday night someone foot passed the ball to him and it appeared a straight forward mark. However when he actually took the mark his head rocketted backwards as though he was hit with a slingshot to the head. I think he thought for a moment the ball was going to slip through his hands and hit him in the gob.Sometimes when he is chasing a quick opposition player there looks like arms and legs pumping all over the place.
