They are the biggest rip-offs ever.

Crispy strips combo, was $10.05 and that was already a joke. It's gone up again for the million time, this time to $10.25. In 5 years we'll probably be paying $15 for it, what an absolute joke. They have the worst prices of the fast food chaines.

Agree KFC is priced way too highly, especially their crispy strips and pieces of chicken. The burgers in "ultimate burger meals" are value but in anything else they are a rip-off too. Good thing about KFC is if you go in late you rarely pay full price as they wont to get rid of the stuff without throwing it out.

some of their stuff is pretty overpriced, but there's some value. ultimate burger meal, swap the potato and gravy (shocking stuff) for a chip upsize, pretty big feed for 10 bucks. 200 ml juices for 55 cents goes alright. snack boxes also good.

Great to see fast crap, fattening food pricing itself out of existence, maybe now people will avoid these places & the obesity rate will drop. :thumbsu:

I doubt that with more McDonalds becoming open 24 hours, I see the obesity rate will rise in awake with this.

Go to Europe, where you get baked beans and corn with your meals...

The breast chicken is way to fatty and I always ask for the smaller pieces.

All in all, its pretty crap food really and I'd rather pay 4-8 pound for a late breakfast or 8 pound for a better pub meal...

Lol, and i thought Red Rooster was bad. The one near my place, the Real Bacon burger meal has gone from $5.95 to $7.95 in the last year or so.

Haven't had KFC in a while though, can imagine they are going the same way like you say.

Can't believe people are willing to pay so much money for crap, when they can go home & have baked beans on toast in 5 minutes, which is so much better for you, or egg on toast, a toasted sandwich that takes no time at all to make & is so much cheaper..

This reminds me of the old bacon and egg burger with a large ice coffee..

For what you pay, you could by a loaf of bread, 6 eggs and a liter of milk...Go figure.

lol @ mantis thinking McDonalds is expensive. McDonalds are cheaper than nearly all fast food places.

Subway are the worst for price hiking IMO. In year 12 (which was 2004) I used to go there once a week for my free period and be able to have a footlong chicken fillet sub for $6.45. Now it's $9.55. The only thing on their menu that has stayed roughly the same is the meatball sub, the rest have all gone up by at least as much as $3. When you throw in a drink that's taking it to $12.55 for lunch.

And yet I still go to Subway once a week. :o

It is expensive for the crap you get. You could eat much cheaper & healthier at home in 5 minutes of preparation.

But keep throwing your hard earned to a foreign company serving you unhealthy crap. :thumbsu:

Just hope you have good medical insurance, when you have to have your arteries unclogged. :D

Most of the things sold at a supermarket are owned by those evil foreigners too you freak.

As for my arteries ... no worries. I don't eat McDonalds.

LOL....

You wouldn't eat a shit sandwich so why waste excessive money on crap.

Roast a chook and buy some bread rolls...Its not that hard really...

Tinned baked beans are terrible for you, packed with sodium.

Amen to that. On my way to the organic produce store, some haggard old b1tch threw her elbow out while I was safely pedalling my bicycle along the footpath. With no medical insurance, I have a permanently damaged arm, can't exercise and, with no way to prepare my own meals, all I can eat is takeout. Farrrk!

Just get one of the subs that are $7 all day every day. Problem solved.

Nandos is worse. They are trying to hard to make it a restuarant style instead of just giving you fast food. A meal with a small coke and chips would cost in excess of $15 easily.
