Vegas hurts!

Sounds unbelieveable but actually looked forward to getting back to the group.

Haere Ra

It sure can.

As others have said we were very lucky to have you take the time to make your posts.

Have a good trip back.

Thanks for all the updates KT... it's been a great read :thumbsu::thumbs:

Not ashamed to say I am more than a little jealous.

kiwi i imagine you now have more of an intimate understanding of the club, the inner workings of the coaching group, the playing group and all that they are doing to upgrade this great club to elite status. i know that you probably cant tell any secrets but whats your instincts telling you about where we are at? does it appear to you that we are soon to rise and are in good hands with dimma and the rest of the coaching staff. just on a side note whats your impression of smith as a coach and what does he bring to group?

Thanks everyone.

As we speak, Coach Hardwick as we now call him is in New York having meetings with coaches and staff of the key sporting franchises in that part of the US.

Wouldn't happen to be the Jets would it? I remember Stig saying he's a fan.

How's anyone going to argue with KT after this? He's now inner sanctum. He can kill every argument.
Anything he says can be prefaced with "don't ask me how I know this but..."

Great work KT, a fantastic insight.

No I will not. Have been lucky to scratch the surface only re insight. Can't say anything but many posters have great insight and see things that are on the footy department's mind. And then there are some posters who are very wide of the mark and negative.

It's a democracy. Opinions welcome here. But if it's plain wrong I will say what I can.

I'm very bullish. How can I not be after the trip. A great time. Ross Smith is a chiseled hard nut and a great bloke. We need to work on our hardness and he's just the right man. The wrestling drills were extraordinary to me. I'm very confident that he will improve the defensive side.

You can just see the upside in Dea, Batchelor, Conca, Post. Ellis is silk. Arnot is a Hardwick clone. Morris is itching to impress. Our ball work in the wet last Friday in Tucson was sharp, very sharp.

There is much to like.

Mick Warner of the Herald Sun said he'd write a summary of the trip for me to put here. It may be early next week so mods if we could just keep it open until then that would be great.

For those on twitter, please follow @heraldsunmick. He's just a ripping bloke and honored to be traveling with him. And it just may be that yellow and black blood courses through his veins!

From what you have seen of the new recruits, in your opinion which ones do you think are most likely to be running out onto the G in round 1?

Looking for a job KT?

Haha. I'm very much a Z grade amateur compared to the Club's Vice President of Digital Media.

By the way, all RFC employee titles as noted above have been changed after the US visit:).

In my humble honest opinion, I'd like to think Steve Morris is in the running. Ellis may go close to a bench spot. Steve was a fellow Wildcat team member.

Awsome reports KT, for what its worth i think morris will play rond one too, if he doesnt we will have to have an utu

again thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the reports Kiwi - outstanding work. I'd imagine you've got some amazing memories to carry for life - they will be extra special if this is the group that delivers us the success we've all been waiting for. (fingers crossed..)

Hey KT, what did ya think of Heslin? How are are his skills and play reading abilities coming along?

From all reports he's a gun athlete and really natural gaelic footballer, got some size about him too..... Bit of a joker in the pack for us, hopefully he's a bit in the Tommy Walsh mold.
