Think you need to realise that Wellingham is a regular senior player, while Pedersen and Stevens are fringe players.

Any three-way trade needs to leave Collingwood in the most advantageous position.

This is a fair point, but our need for Wellingham is minimal.
Hence, we wouldn't be inclined IMO to offer up our 1st pick this year.

Stevens is the steak knives really but really 17 for wellingham is pretty fair, it's not like Stevens has shown anything of worth at AFL level to warrant much.

Wellingham is a fair player, but isn't a first round worthy talent. And Stevens isn't going to be traded as steak knives. One has to consider who he's up against for a spot in the WC line-up so as to see why he didn't get much of a look in. WC give away the Spangher and McKinley's as steak knives, not players like Stevens, who have decent potential. Stevens' trade worth will almost solely be based on his potential rather than his AFL level output. So to say he's valued based on what he's produced at AFL level simply isn't the case.

Nahhh ........................ Dont think they will fall for that !

Stevens - Injuries
Stevens- Disposal
Stevens - Cant break into your team,Collingwood wont be any easier

He will be a convenience trade to Facilitate his wants and will probably be traded to the team he wants for a pick around 40

Fall for what? Opposition recruiters won't use or hear reason in negotiations?

I don't think Stevens is going to Collingwood. Just pointing out that including Stevens as steak knives along with #17 for Wellingham is most unlikely to occur.

WC will likely be involved in a direct or 3-way trade for Jaimie Cripps which involves the trading out of Stevens.

WC would never offer pick 17 for Wellingham. I also doubt Wellingham will leave Collingwood or if he does Melbourne.

Id be suprised if we get a low second rounder for him TBH

Pretty injury free and shown next to nothing at AFL level.

But dont let that deter you from bidding wars and signing over first borns ;)

Ok

Stevens + WC first rounder for Bulldogs 1st rounder. Hopefully pick up Garlett with that 1st rounder
That is probably the most optimistic trade suggestion I've seen on any of these trade threads and that is saying something! You could throw in your second pick as well and they wouldn't go for that deal.

Cripps is worth more than Koby, except now he has nominated he's come off a bit. If Koby nominates he will lose a fair bit of value too.

Last year Eagles got 28 for Ebert AND 45. In a supposedly weaker draft.

Going off that I think the eagles second round pick (~37?) is reasonable for Cripps. Unders on the free market, but reasonable in the situation.

I personally don't rate Cripps that highly, but based on what both players have shown, Cripps should have slightly more value. Both drafted at pretty much the same pick, Stevens has had one more year in the system, but has played less games and not really shown much, while Cripps played 12 games this season.

However, I'd probably settle for a straight swap seeing as Cripps has put St Kilda in a pretty tough spot, nominating only one club and especially considering I don't think West Coast necessarily are desperate to obtain Cripps, so won't want to give up too much.

St Kilda traded Tom Lynch, another previous first rounder (Pick 13) to Adelaide after he nominated them for Pick 37 (or 35?) last year. I'd say Cripps had shown significantly more than Lynch at equal stages of their career. So I'd say pick 37 would be a little unders for him.

North are getting screwed in that trade. Pedersen's being horribly underrated.

These multi-club trades are hard to pull off without someone getting screwed on paper. They tend to involve a lot more pick juggling when there are 3+ clubs involved and there could be picks involved that came from other trades before these cluster **** trades are done.
