Zaven Collins’ NFL Draft profile
Looking at his physical profile, it’s clear why Zaven Collins is a first-round prospect. Collins is 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, with decent length for his size. He’s also a good athlete. He doesn’t have every athletic trait in the book, but Collins can mold his game around several qualities, most notably his explosiveness.

Collins has excellent stop-and-start ability in short ranges. That explosiveness helps him in several phases on defense. In pass defense, the Tulsa linebacker has enough closing burst to cross gaps and enter passing windows. He’s also fluid with his backpedal.

Collins was instrumental in helping the Golden Hurricane to their first winning season since 2016. Not only was he a first-team All-AAC selection, but he also earned first-team All-American honors, alongside Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Joseph Ossai. On December 23, the Tulsa linebacker was announced as the Bronko Nagurski Award winner. The award is given to the best defender in the nation each year. Collins joins a group that includes Aaron Donald, Luke Kuechly, Ndamukong Suh, and Chase Young, as previous winners.

A day after winning the award, Collins announced that he would forgo his final season of eligibility, and declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.

“I think it’s a huge offseason for Damon Arnette”, Mayock said. “What he needs is the consistency of nutrition, a weight room and a workout regimen. And he needs to apply himself religiously. We have no problems with his quickness, with his ability to cover and his innate competitiveness. It’s the other things. Because when things come easy to you, you don’t always work on the other things. And now Damon really has to focus on the weight room, the nutrition and the daily regimen of getting himself ready for camp.

So he was lazy then

Nelson Agholor, who is set to be a free agent in March, allegedly told his teammates that, ‘they suck’ after the Week 16 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

According to reports, those in the locker room with Agholor recalled him saying that his teammates were selfish and didn’t work hard enough. Agholor said that the team quit against the Dolphins and the previous two losses.

Agholor continued by saying there was no accountability in the locker room, nor do players play for one another and the coaches, which is how winning teams work. He said the Raiders’ performance for the last six games of the season was unacceptable and too many people in the team were simply accepting what happened.
Good for Nelson, he comes from a SB winning team so you'd think he knows what hard work and dedication looks like.

Gus Bradley will bring onboard at least four of his assistants with him from the Chargers, where he had been the DC the past four seasons.

Those four coaches are:

Defensive Backs coach Ron Milus
Linebackers coach Richard Smith
Assistant DB coach Addison Lynch
Defensive Quality Control coach Ryan Milus

Bradley might want to do the draft also.

Last years draft class going to really need to step it up next season.

“All seven of the Raiders’ 2020 draft picks were selected within the first four rounds, and that group collectively ranked third-to-last in WAR generated among the 32 classes. Only one Las Vegas rookie generated positive WAR this season — wide receiver Bryan Edwards — and he barely eclipsed zero. The second of Las Vegas’ two first-round picks, cornerback Damon Arnette, had a rough rookie campaign over nine games played. He finished as the lowest-graded outside corner in coverage this season, giving up 26 catches for 405 yards on 32 targets.

Should be able to.

Ruggs missed with injury then was competing with Agholor who did better than expected.

Arnette missed a lot thru concussion and injury. Needs work off field or will end up a backup in Cleveland.

Chucky and Mayock played themselves with Bowden. Jack of all trades, master of none. May come good with a team
willing to put some time in and be creative.

Edwards was injured at college and missed 4 games with us and lost his spot as starter but shows a lot.

Muse missed all season injured. Plenty of upside.

Simpson didn't get much of a go with Good and Jackson playing well.

Robertson also injured. He and Arnette suffered under Guenther who used them dropping back into zone.
They and Mullen are physical press CBs.

Las Vegas Review Journal's Vincent Bonsignore writes "multiple teams" are expected to pursue a trade for Derek Carr.
The Raiders "figure to at least listen", especially if offers include multiple first-round picks. Carr's contract is very tradable for both parties. He'd only cost the Raiders $2.5 million in dead cap if traded, and the acquiring team would have Carr for two years at about $20 million per season. That's reasonable. Bonsignore lists the Colts, Bears, Patriots and Washington as potential suitors, along with the Texans if Deshaun Watson is actually available. If Carr is dealt for draft picks instead of players, the Raiders could turn to Marcus Mariota, who is due $11.4 million this upcoming season, as their short-term answer. Carr finished eighth in expected points added (EPA) per dropback last season and will be 30 years old in 2021.

Here's how that potential deal could look, according to Bonsignore:

"The Raiders would have to receive two first-round picks for Carr, which they would then package with their own first-rounders in 2021 and 2022 to present a compelling offer of four first-round picks to the Texans for Watson, who has reportedly asked be traded."

Hope Watson can play CB and SS

Carr's not the problem, I'll admit he'll never be a league top 5 QB BUT surround him with talent that is competent and build a defense that can handle Mahommes and we'll win the West. That's the first thing we need to focus on, as for chasing Watson, that's fool's gold.

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller has a rational perspective if his name happens to come up in trade talks for Deshaun Watson.

Waller told TMZ Sports that the NFL "is a business" when asked about possibly being dealt this offseason.

"Crazier things have happened," he added. "I enjoy being where I'm at with the Raiders and that time will come to an end whether it's 10 years from now or it's by Monday. So, I just try to enjoy being here as much as I can."

According to The Athletic, the Raiders' "preference" is to trade Marcus Mariota rather than Derek Carr.
Mariota is linked to the Patriots in the piece composed by a handful of NFL insiders at The Athletic. Some are thinking Mariota can be the sort of reclamation project Ryan Tannehill was in Tennessee when he ended up taking Mariota's job. Mariota played in one game for the Raiders this past season after Carr was injured early in the first quarter of Week 15 against the Chargers. Mariota was electric in the 30-27 loss, going 17-of-28 for 226 yards and a 1:1 TD:INT mark to go with 88 rushing yards and a second touchdown as a runner. Mariota's biggest problem in the NFL has been his complete inability to stay healthy. It's why the Raiders would prefer to trade him over a reliable Carr.
