Essendon have the bye and may be relying on North Melbourne losing to us in order to get a finals berth.

Wasnt it about three years ago that we needed them to win against StKilda in the last round and they ended up being reamed and killing our chances.

If we cant put a dent in their finals chances tonight then maybe we can do it in the last round as only we can do it.

It would be quite funny to have Essendon supporters hanging their chances on that game. Welcome to the dark side. By that game we will have put the cue in the rack and every dud on our list will be playing a full game.

I have Richmond, Essendon and NM all finishing outside of the 8 with Melbourne and St.Kilda sneaking in to 7th and 8th place.

I've Essendon predicted that Essendon will break their AAMI stadium hoodoo and beat Adelaide as well as keep our dominance of Carlton going. If they lose both of those swap them with St Kilda. That would actually be better for the Carlton clash.

If we come up against Carlton in elimination final it is win win. If we win we finish their season and that is satisfying. If we lose they'll still have Ratten as coach and that has long term benefits for all haters of Carlton!!! Also the winner of that elimination will have to come up against either West Coast in Perth or Collingwood which is likely to be a humiliating loss.

The script of us being in a shootout for the eight has just been red lined on the basis of being to fanciful and that an audience would find it unbelievable.

We just need some type of pay back for that last round three years ago where you had put the cue in the rack and lost to St Kilda by around 100 points.

Come on now. Every dud on our list will not be lpaying....there are only 18 places on the field so at least a dozen duds can't be on.
