I'd love for Leeds to get Szszszszczesny, he will be a brilliant keeper and is showing great ability already. Rate him higher than Almunia and Flappianski (not much of an achievement :D)
Whats your story? Supporter of Arsenal and Leeds?

Harte kicked 18 goals from defence in the CC last year, which is pretty amazing. He also made the CC team of the year.

Personally I think it would be great to have him back at the club! :thumbsu:
I know all that. We need to be building a side this year that can get us into the Premiership again. Harte has clearly found his niche, League One. Don't want Smith back either, not even sure what role he plays these days.

How about Viduka? :p When I first started following Leeds he and Harry were playing with Robbie Keane - then they got relegated and they all left.

I'll say it now. Read the last line if you don't want to hear the whole story.

I followed Leeds because my dad went for them and because of the Aussie connection. Really loved them and still did and when they went down, since I was relatively young at the time, I found it hard to follow a team that wasn't in the premier league, even though I'd go look at the forums on the official leeds site and contribute on that etc. Then I was watching an Arsenal game and the style and play they had, not to mention a few other friends whom have family in England that follow Arsenal, got me hooked on Arsenal so I could stay watching a team in the Premier League (not that I didn't hold hope for us rebounding). Thought it would be temporary but i've grown to be very fond of Arsenal and still have a spot for Leeds. Sadly because the lack of CC coverage/league one (although I watched a few of the cup games and replays they show) I've become a big Arsenal fan now who still loves Leeds at heart. I think when Leeds are back in the Premiership I'll have to choose one though. Although I did like Football and watched/kept up with it only for about the past 10 or so years, I really got into it the season we got relegated, and I think Arsenal won the title but only really got into Arsenal the next season watching them in the FA Cup Final (not because they won or were doing very well at the time, just because I just loved their game style and beautiful football). Sadly not as dedicated as you fans, but in my defense I wasn't a huge soccer fan, even though I did watch the Leeds games, buy the shirts etc (even during the struggle) and admit to being a Leeds fan to the chorus of laughter :D. Nevertheless I'd say I am an Arsenal fan with a very soft spot for Leeds. It was my first love, so I will always love Leeds.

Don't let apollo creed get wind of this...

The hypocrisy police in maroon and light blue....and dark blue...and black...and white...and Kevin Prince Boateng's man juice. I know you have much love for Arsenal BB, secretly you have a man crush on Bendtner.

Definitely can't say the same thing about Leeds though :D Ok ill FACup. :p

I did same when they were relegated and went for Spurs because Robbie Keane went to them :o Should be ok to have a fave and second fave :p

It's a bit rich to dump us in our darkest hour, mate.

Switching clubs is something I'd never ever do and I could never turn my back on Leeds United Football Club because I have supported them for 12 years and I always will support the mighty Leeds.

Dumping Leeds for Arsenal for me is an absolute disgrace.

When Leeds were relegated from the Premier League and Championship, I was absolutely devastated and even though we got promoted to the Championship this season, it still hurts that we are in the lower divisions in the first place.

I am only supporting Liverpool this season because my brother is a Reds fan but I don't have any passion for them whatsover.

My football heart and passion belongs to Leeds United and always will.

We are not that far away from making a return to the Premier League soon.

MARCHING ON TOGETHER!!! WE ARE LEEDS!!!!

Agreed with everything you said until I read the bolded part.

No excuse for jumping off Leeds. I don't care if we were relegated 48 times.

Exactly, even if we were in the Blue Square North I would still support them.

Dumping us for Arsenal for me is simply unforgivable.

For me Freofan Mundy looks like a glory hunter.

He only supports clubs when they experience the good times and jump ship when the going gets tough.

It's an absolute disgrace.

Dude. Look.

I go for Fremantle. Have been a member since the beginning, been to nearly every game and never left a game early.

End argument of being a glory hunter.

Seriously, I still do/always checked there progress, I just couldn't follow it due to lack of coverage and when I started watching the EPL regularly, i just got hooked on Arsenal. I don't claim to be a hard core Leeds fan like some of you but I have always loved them, not my fault I was in high school at the time and the only form of support I could give was go on the forums at school. Using my age as an excuse because it was inconvenient to try watch the championship games and all. If I was this age when the fall from the top happened, I wouldn't have any excuse and I am more into football than I have ever been.

Anyway, don't really care what you think just thought i'd explain it and don't like be called a glory hunter.

Bloody glory hunters! ;)
Actually couldn't give a shit if people swap teams. Most EPL fans in Oz are glory hunters.

Read on some Leeds sites that we may be interested in getting Hulse back. Not sure how he's recovered from injury. He's only 30,31.

Well we've made our first signing, Kasper Schmeichel on a free.

Pretty happy with that!

Absolutely brilliant signing.

Great to see a player like Schmeichel come to Elland Road.

Great to see the club show some ambition to get back into the Premiership.

Well done SG.

Very nervy keeper, never felt great when he was in net.

But he tended to get the job done, and has a very good record of keeping clean sheets. Needs to be a good foot taller to be a good keeper but he'll be OK at Coke League level, will be interesting to see if he'll be number 1 or backup, don't think he's a huge upgrade (if at all) to Ankegren.

Big Man United supporter (for obvious reasons), so will be interesting to see if he'll keep that quiet at Leeds. Still remember him running off the pitch at the final whistle of our U18 game so he could make the kick off at Old Trafford.

Australian Leeds fans! Member's Club coming to NSW this Summer!

This is an open invitation to come and join the FIRST Official Members Club for NSW in Australia. With promotion to the Championship secure, next season promises to be another roller coaster ride with our beloved team.

We may be thousands of miles away from Elland Road, but you can still show your support for Leeds by becoming an International Member, and also by joining our new NSW Branch of the Members Club. 100% of the membership fee goes to the club, and I will outline some of the benefits below. But most importantly, its about being a part of the club you love, especially as we are all so far away.

We need a minimum of 10 international members to get this off the ground, but if we can can double or triple that, the more the merrier!!

It cost 25 pounds to join (about $40). And, I repeat, this money goes straight to the club. Simply follow the online instructions to join, and then email me your international membership number, that's it!

In addition to a Leeds scarf, and other bits and pieces, you will get priority booking to any Leeds game, home or away (if you make a trip back to the UK), we will have an official channel direct to the club, one free month of LUTV, discounts on Leeds merchandise via the online store, and we will also be receiving a signed match shirt and ball to raffle off to some lucky members.

But that's not all:

LOCALLY we will be organizing meet-ups for EVERY LIVE Leeds United game this season at our official bar Cheers in Sydney, as well as A-League days out, with trips planned to Newcastle, Gosford, Melbourne, and of course, several games at Sydney FC. I truly believe that there is nothing better than sharing a few beers with fellow Leeds fans, and I want to have as many opportunities as possible to bring Leeds fans together.

We will be having the inaugural meet-up and elections for club officers in late June or early July, so please let me know your availability and preference for either Sunday the 27th of June, or Sunday 3rd of July. We will meet at Cheers Bar on George Street (unless otherwise notified) at 3pm.

So PLEASE, if you are interested, sign up as soon as possible for the membership and email me back with your details, as well as your preference for our members club meeting, and lets KEEP THE WHITE FLAG FLYING HIGH!

any questions, comments etc, please PM me anytime!

ON ON ON!

Been a while since someone posted so I'll update our transfer moves over the past three weeks.

Billy Paynter - Swindon. Striker who signed a three year deal.

Paul Connolly - Derby County. Right Back who signed a 3 year deal.

Fede Bessone - Swansea. Left Back who also a 3 year deal.

The 2010/11 fixture also came out this week and we open the season against Derby County at home. That was also our first game out of the top flight back in 2004.

What do you guys reckon about Robert Koren?

Just been released by WBA and currently captaining Slovenia in the WC.

Would add a bit of experience in the midfield and knows how to get promoted.

Also, why have we transferred Lubo? Thought he would be handy as cover in central defence.
