Celebrating Glenferrie
This year marks the 100 year anniversary of the union between Hawthorn and Glenferrie Oval. To celebrate, we are hosting three great events, kicking off with a Legends’ Game to be played on Thursday 3 March at our spiritual home. Over the coming weeks, former Hawthorn greats participating in the Legends’ Game will be announced and tickets go on sale via the website next week. The annual March Family Day will be held on Sunday 5 March where our current playing list will be officially presented with their 2006 guernsey. During this Family Day over 200 memorabilia items will be up for grabs at the Great Glenferrie Auction to be held at the Hawthorn Aquatic Centre. Be a part of this historic occasion as we commemorate Glenferrie Oval. Keep an eye on the web for further information.
