Strange that no one has started a thread here on this yet, as I perceive this to be the biggest milestone game of this year.
Leon Davis will become the first indigenous footballer to play 200 games for the greatest club in Australia.

A little Leon History;
*Born on the 17th of June, 1981.
*Recruited from Perth Football Club, with pick 34 in the 1999 National Draft
*He was the 1007th player to play for Collingwood, and is now ranked 29th on games played at the club
*He is 17th on the Collingwood all time goalkicking list
*Leon debuted against Hawthorn in round 1, 2000
*Leon's average stats are 9.7 kicks, 3 marks, 3 handballs and 1.3 goals a match over his 199 game career
*Leon has played at the MCG 122 times
*All-Australian selection in 2009
--------------------------------------------------------------------
My thoughts on Leon;
For as long as I can remember Leon playing for us, I have enjoyed watching him at all times, even during his "struggles". To watch the development, from a permanent "flashy" forward pocket, to being an important member of our midfield last year, has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Leon Davis must have found it tough at first when he came to Collingwood, as a Perth boy, a long way from home, there was always stories of homesickness and Leon wanting to "return home", yet he persisted and has always stayed true to Collingwood.
I was thinking the other day, if we win the flag in the next 3 years, chances are the first name called out to come up and receive his premiership medallion, will be NUMBER ONE, LEON DAVIS, and if that moment occurs, I like many will have a tear of joy and pride in my eye.
Leon Davis ultimately will go down in Collingwood history as one of the most exciting players to watch, but he will forever be the first indigenous Australian to play 200 games for Collingwood, a great achievement in itself.
My favourite Leon Moment;
There have been many, from the goal of the year against Fremantle, to the run and carry and one/two goal against Brisbane, but there is one that stands out for me.
Against Geelong in 2007, Leon grabbed the ball about 80 out, danced around the boundary, just avoiding both an approaching Geelong player and the boundary itself, before slotting on the run from 52 metres with one of the great goals of the modern era, and it just so happened to occur on a night when Collingwood probably played it's best ever game while Leon has been here.
------------------------------------------------------------------
I would like to congratulate Leon Davis on 200 games for the Collingwood Football Club, and wish him well for the future, both in his final few years with us, and beyond.
Gratz "MAGIC".
