tbh i can't really recall... stats suggest he only averaged 4.72 hitouts a match.
Well, here's hoping that someone with a better memory than you or I chips in here...
I remember him more as a forward than a ruckman - can picture him kicking goals in my mind's eye.
EDIT: Stats don't seem to back me up though.

Are any of these guys worth looking at in the draft?

Perhaps...

Yes.

I don't know much at all about the draft prospects but I've been keen on Brown for a while now.

Seen him play a few times and each time I've been left very impressed by what he brings to the table. Brown is primarily a forward target but he can also push into the ruck. He's not a full time ruck and never will be, but he has the size to enable him to be an effective chop-out throughout games.

Two real strengths of Brown's game are his contested marking and his set shot for goal. He's a big boy and he's certainly not afraid to throw his weight around in a contest. Attacks the contest well and has sticky hands enabling him to take the grab. Also has one of the best set shots you're likely to see - beautiful kicking action and is very accurate in front of goal.

He's also very good aerobically which is a real asset for a big man as he can just keep running and getting to contests.

Had a very good year at VFL level and from memory that culminated in an invitation to the recent draft camp. Is an absolute certainty IMO to be selected in the draft and no doubt there'd be a number of clubs very interested in him. Hopefully we're one as it's not out of the question that if we did go down that path, he'd well and truly be in contention for a spot in our senior side for round 1.

I think we ought to be looking to bring another key forward to the club - if not via trade then through the drafts. Brown won't be a star but I don't see any reason why he can't be a very solid contributor at AFL level. I'd be looking to bring him in with a late pick in the National Draft.

Interesting to note that he played for Werribee this year at VFL level under Scott West. With West today indicating he's after a job at an AFL club it wouldn't surprise should they end up at the same club as one another. He'll be an absolute cult figure wherever he ends up.
