So having seen Liam Jones show talent but not for very long, I turned on to watch the game today expecting normal programming.

What I saw beggared belief. He has turned into a backman. And not just any backman, a legitimate intercept marking, leaping, spoiling and distributing backman.

For those who saw it, can he replicate it? This could be the greatest turnaround in football history if he, and Carlton, make this work.

Kudos to you, LJizz.

Even Tom Lee showed signs as a defender when he first got his chance last year. Played very well today and was a big part of a huge win, but give it a month before this discussion is had.

It has taken three years to shake off Bulldogs bad habits.

First game I've seen him play at a level he would produce at times for the Dogs.

Every break out game he had for us, he'd go missing the next week. I'm hoping he backs it up next week.
