Not the point though is it. Clearly it shows even the highest rated list can have a poor loss just because you had a few bad quarter does not mean you're not in contention - and right now that is a premature statement

How does it?
It's a neutral venue. One which incidentally still suits Penrith.
Etihad is in the scrotum of Melbourne's home area. It's nowhere near Geelong's.

So port Adelaide playing at Adelaide oval is an away game is it? because its half hour down the road?
The crows have an advantage, because its closer to Adelaide than Port Adelaide?
If you think home ground advantage is because they live 'nearest' to it, you're kidding yourself.
You Geelong fans dont get it. You've got the best of both worlds. A true home ground advantage (no other team using the ground), and minimal travel. Find me another team that doesnt share their home ground, and leaves their home state 6 times a season.

OK heres the summary.
Geelong have THE biggest home ground advantage in the league.
The only team not to share their home ground or travel out of their home state every 2nd week.
Yet all i hear is wah wah wah from their supporters.

And by travelling 5-6 less times each year than interstate teams, must be tough on the players.

Like: Connor Blakely. I knew he'd elevated his game, but jeez Louise that was a helluva performance on Sunday.
Learned: Sloane struggles too much with a tag for Adelaide to be considered a legitimate flag threat ATM.

I know which schedule every single player would prefer.

We are so lucky.

Pretty sure he said that Dunn had never played at a successful club before, but I could be wrong.
Either way, the implication was the same. Not too bright, but makes for a good firey lead up to this weeks game at least.

Gold Coast are developing into a pretty handy side.
GWS just keep finding ways to win. Brave effort by the Dons though.
If teams slows Adelaide's run out defence, the Crows are very vulnerable.

The White Owl function before, during and after the North vs Richmond game. $80,000 was raised for prostate cancer and men's menatal health. Was a great function and well hosted by Tiff Cherry.
