Like those ins.

No injuries this week, please. :o

Perplexed by those emergencies: Motlop? instead of CJ, Warnock instead of Biz?

Looks like Smith's run his race. :p

No Phithy? Odd...

I think everyone in this team has shown more at an AFL level this year than Read. It will take more injuries (touch wood) to see him back this season.

In: Stevens (CHB), Torney (HBF), Massie (Wing), Porplyzia (interchange)

Out: Knights, Mcleod, Hentschel, Hart (all injured)

Happy with Melbourne's changes, except of course for Godfrey.

Godfrey will reach the 100-game mark next year.

I want to agree with you about Godders, and normally I would, but I just can't fault him over the last few months. He'll never be a good kick or even a good distributor of the ball, but he does give us something, and his work ethic can't be faulted.

You won't agree, but I tried! ;)

Yep this is one thing we won't agree on, I would much rather have Read in the team than Godfrey. They are both ****, but for angry factor which is good in big games and finals... Read > Godfrey.

True. I prefer Read's skills, but he's just too undisciplined. Godders has a higher work ethic.

But... Bartram > Read and Godders.

Bartram goes without saying just like Whelan > both, Pickett > Both.

Sure Read is undisiplined but a team needs a d***head or 2 to fly the flag when the going gets tough. In finals Reads lack of pace wouldn't be tested as much as they tend to be tighter slower paced games.

Having said that I hope neither Read or Godfrey are in the team next week. Pickett & Whelan to make quick recoveries!

Amen to that.

Yep. :D

You need a Godfrey or a Read in the team, just not both at the same time.

I'm an admirer of Godfrey, i think no-ones give more at the club and at times in the Geelong match, he was good coming out of CHF onto the wings as a link man almost.

For me, Godfrey > Read
