Our current issue is a transition to having no need for back ups on the rookie list. So we need to make the choice between cutting some depth players and hoping we get few injuries, or minimal draft picks.
Given we need three picks there are three guys gone. I'd look at more mature guys that aren't playing whilst fit. Big X etc.
Then if we trade in one or two we need to get a couple more. The awesome thing is that we have guys that really deserve to stay on the list that will likely have to be cut if this is the case.
I'll trust the coaches to know who to cut. But my preference is leave guys like Griff and McG on the list. They add value now (McG) or have lots of talent and are young (Griff). Guys like Nahas aren't getting games and playign well and are not young - i.e. they have peaked and been passed by others.
