I dislike Caro as much as any crow fan would. Her constant lies and backing of our current coaching set up pisses us all off over the other side too.

NWM will be a great get for either SA club. Of course i am biased and would love him at Port, but any elite player that comes back to SA is a win regardless.

The "I barrack for South Australia" stuff is reminiscent of what grandma says but she has the excuse of being well into her 90s.

She was fairly clear it was Port's undertanding Of the situation. That's where it gives her the wiggle room. What NWM actually thinks and what someone at Port's understanding is are two different things.

I guess it depends on if he wants to play with his mates at a club who looks to be just about to do a re-build of sorts, or if he wants to move to a club just about to start contending. It does seem to be heading down the path that he is leaving the Saints though. Would be surprised if he ended up staying there now after all the noise in the media.

I think you’re overly optimistic here. If anything, Port most certainly can afford him and will have more than we will in a trade when Bergman leaves. Also, I think you’ll find Nas just doesn’t want to come to the AFC, for whatever reason.

Absolutely this.
They are using Caro on this occasion as the muckraking would be too obvious of it came from Kornes (who would be dying to sink the boot into Tex one more time).

I agree with the concept that any SA stars coming back to SA is a good thing with regard to making people more wary about drafting SA lads. Obviously turns my stomach to consider any good ones coming back to the Teals though
